On January 14, 2022, the world’s largest digital comics platform WEBTOON in collaboration with HYBE officially launched their highly-anticipated new series of webcomics and webnovels known as ‘7Fates: Chakho’ featuring BTS. This collaboration was announced by HYBE at their annual corporate “Briefing with the Community” held on November 3, 2021 and is part of the ‘Super Casting’ campaign, a group of global partnerships that bring some of the world’s most exciting entertainment companies to WEBTOON.
In anticipation of the the new series premiere, HYBE and WEBTOON released multiple teaser videos and photos beginning in early November 2021 and can be viewed below or via the following official websites and social media channels.

“7Fates: Chakho" is an urban fantasy story set in the near future and inspired by the “Chakhogapsa” tiger hunters of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. This epic tale follows seven young men bound by fate. After growing up together through a series of trials and tribulations, they must become a unified group of seven to unlock their destiny.

Season 2
On August 2, 2022, HYBE announced the return of 7FATES: CHAKHO for a second season with new episodes to be released every Saturday beginning August 20, 2022 KST.

Official Soundtrack
On February 5, 2022 KST, WEBTOON released the original soundtrack (OST) for 7FATES: CHAKHO titled ‘Stay Alive’ produced by SUGA with vocals by Jungkook. The soundtrack was also released on February 11, 2022 KST on all DSPs.
On February 10, 2022, HYBE released the promotional video for ‘Stay Alive’ via their 7FATES: CHAKHO office YouTube channel.
The first verse of “Stay Alive” is also featured in episode 4 of 7Fates: Chakho.

Webtoon Teaser Episodes
On December 20, 2020, Hybe released a live CCTV video on YouTube featuring all seven members of BTS in anticipation of the series premiere of ‘7Fates: Chakho’. The footage shows each member leisurely wandering in various spaces such as bedrooms, dance practice rooms, and hallways and then mysteriously vanishing without a trace leaving behind shimmering green particles.
Beginning on December 24, 2021, WEBTOON released a teaser episode each day for every member via their WEBTOON x BTS official website and Twitter channel as well as the 7Fates: Chakho official Twitter channel.
