Jimin Donated to Busan City Office Municipal Education

On April 5, 2019, it was revealed that Jimin made a 100 million won (~$87,914) donation to the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education. The Office of Education distributed the donation to each school in Busan with Jimin’s alma mater, Busan High School of Arts, receiving approximately 30 million won. The donation was used towards student welfare including lunch money and other necessities for students from low-income families.
