Jung Kook’s “Standing Next To You” debuted at no. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart (dated November 18)! According to Luminate, the song sold more than 84,000 digital copies in its first week, outselling “Now and Then” by 5 times, which ranked no. 2 for the week, with 16,000 digital copies sold. This marks Jung Kook’s fifth no. 1 hit on the chart following “Left and Right” (Charlie Puth feat. Jung Kook, “Dreamers”, “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)”, and “Too Much” (The Kid LAROI, Jung Kook, and Central Cee)”. With this, Jung Kook breaks his tie with Jimin to become the South Korean soloist with the most no. 1 hits in Digital Song chart history.
