On August 8, 2023 KST, Big Hit announced the upcoming release of V’s first solo album, ‘Layover’.
According to the company’s Weverse announcement, the album will consist of six tracks in total, including 5 tracks and 1 bonus track. V will showcase new performances and make various appearances alongside the album release.

V joined the lineup for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Korea’s inaugural episode that aired on September 14, 2023. He performed 3 songs from his new album: ‘Love Me Again,’ ‘Slow Dancing,’ and ‘For Us’
