Voting Information
Favorite Pop Duo or Group
Voting Begins: Thursday, October 13, 2022 @ 6am PT
Voting Ends: Monday, November 14, 2022 @ 11:59pm PTFavorite K-Pop Artist
Voting Opens: Tuesday, November 1, 2022 @ 10am PT
Voting Ends: Sunday, November 20, 2022 @ 6pm PT
There are 3 voting methods:
1. WEBSITE VOTING (additional vote counted if shared to Twitter)
a. Go to the voting page at https://www.billboard.com/amasvote/
b. Click on the "Favorite Pop Duo or Group" button
c. Next to BTS, click the "Vote" button.
d. Click the "Confirm Vote" button.
e. Click the checkbox next to "I agree to the Voting Rules" and sign in with Facebook or Twitter.
You will be prompted to accept either the Facebook or Twitter access authorization application (“Access Authorization”) the first time you vote, depending on whether you registered with your Facebook or your Twitter account. You must accept the applicable Access Authorization in order to vote.
f. After submitting your vote, you will see a “Thank You” page that confirms your vote and offers you the opportunity to vote again or to share your vote on Twitter (which will count as an additional vote) or Facebook (which will NOT count as an additional vote).
* Voting limit: Once you have submitted twenty-two (22) votes for a particular Award in a given day, that Award will be unavailable for further voting on the voting page until the next day.
2. TWITTER VOTING
a. To vote via Twitter, you must have a Twitter account and be logged into Twitter, and your Twitter account must be set to public.
b. You may cast a Tweet Vote by composing a message containing the following three (3) required elements and posting it from your Twitter account:
- The name of applicable nominee or their Twitter handle
- The name of the specific Award for which you are voting (e.g., "Favorite Pop Duo or Group")
- The official hashtag for the Program: #AMAs✅ Examples of valid Tweet Votes would be:
- I'm voting for BTS for Favorite Pop Duo or Group at the #AMAs
- I'm voting for @BTS_twt for Favorite Pop Duo or Group at the #AMAs
c. If you re-tweet a third party’s valid Tweet Vote, it will count as a valid vote by you, subject to the same rules for ordinary Tweet Votes.
d. Tweet Votes must comply with all other Twitter requirements (e.g., number of characters, etc.) and may not include any derogatory, defamatory, or obscene language or images.
* Voting limit: Tweet Votes for an Award in excess of twenty-two (22) votes per day not be counted as valid votes.
3. DISCORD VOTING (Favorite K-Pop Artist Only)
a. Go to discord.gg/AMAs
b. You will see a window that says, "You've been invited to join AMAs." Click the "Join AMAs" button.
c. You will see a window that says, "Welcome to AMAs." Click on "Vote for your favorite K-Pop artists."
d. This will take you to the #vote-here channel, where you will see the message, "You must complete a few more steps before you can talk." Click the "Complete" button.
-Read the rules, click the checkbox next to "I have read and agree to the rules," and click the "Submit" button.
-This will take you back to the #vote-here channel. Click the "Vote Now!" button.
-You must verify your Discord to continue. Click the "Verify" button.
-Read the terms. If you agree, click the "Authorize" button.
e. In the #vote-here channel, you will see a post to vote for your Favorite K-Pop Artist.
-Click the "+" or "custom" button to add votes for BTS.
-You can allocate 22 votes. Then click the "Submit" button.
* Voting limit: You can vote once a day and allocated 22 votes each time.
