🗳 There are 2 voting methods:
1. WEBSITE VOTING
a. Go to the voting page at https://www.billboard.com/amasvote/.
b. Click on the “Login” link.
c. Click the checkbox next to the Voting Rules, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use statement.
d. Sign in with your Facebook or Google account by selecting the Facebook or Google sign in button.
e. Scroll down and click on the "Favorite K-Pop Artist" category.
f. Click on the image of the artist of your choice.
g. Click on the plus (+) button to enter the desired number of votes for your chosen artist.
During the voting period, you can submit up to twenty-five (25) votes for an Award category.
On Turbo Days, you can submit up to fifty (50) votes for an Award category.
h. Click on the “Vote” button.
You will be prompted to accept either the Facebook or Google access authorization application (“Access Authorization”) the first time you vote, depending on whether you registered with your Facebook or your Google account. You must accept the applicable “Access Authorization” in order to vote.
After submitting all available votes for an Award, the next Award category will automatically expand to display that Award’s nominees and the previous Award category will be collapsed.
i. After submitting all available votes for all Award categories, you will see a “Thank You” page that confirms your vote and offers you the opportunity to share your vote on Facebook or Twitter (sharing will NOT count as an additional vote) or to return to the voting page.
❗ Voting limit: Once you have submitted twenty-five (25) votes for a particular Award in a given day, that Award will be unavailable for further voting on the voting page until the next day. On Turbo Days, the limit is fifty (50) votes for a particular Award in a given day.
2. INSTAGRAM VOTING
a. To vote via Instagram, you must have an Instagram account and be logged into Instagram, and your Instagram account must be set to public.
b. You may cast an Instagram Comment Vote by posting a comment on the Official Voting Post at https://www.instagram.com/amas/ during the Voting Period. containing the specific Promoted Hashtag from your Instagram account:
- The Promoted Hashtags includes the specific Award and applicable nominee(s) for which you are voting in a single hashtag.
- There is a unique hashtag for each nomination. If an artist is nominated for two awards, they will have two unique hashtags.
- The list of Promoted Hashtags are listed at https://www.theamas.com/how-to-vote or here.✅ Examples of valid Instagram Comment Votes would be:
- I'm voting for #kpoprm
- I'm voting for #kpopjimin
c. You can only vote for one category and one nominee per Instagram comment. If you include multiple voting hashtags in one comment, that comment will be deemed invalid and not be counted.
d. Instagram Comment Votes must comply with all other Instagram requirements and may not include any derogatory, defamatory, or obscene language or images.
