BTS Breaks Their Own Guinness World Record With 2022 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award Win

BTS took home the award for βFavorite Music Groupβ for the third consecutive year at this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award. With their sixth blimp win, BTS has not only broken their own Guinness World Record for most Nickelodeon Kidsβ Choice Awards blimps won by a music group, but they also break the tie for the record title after earning the title last year with the group, Fifth Harmony, with five blimps each.
The Bangtan Boys conquered the KCA blimp as Favorite Music Group for the third year in a row β a win that KCA's official Twitter account defined (winking at the record-breaking song) smooth like "Butter".
After last year's success, this win brought their number of blimps to six.
The result didnβt only surpass BTS' current record of five victories, but also broke the tie with the American pop and R&B girl group Fifth Harmony. This crowned BTS as the group with the highest number of KCA nods overall ever.
