On July 9, 2013, BTS debuted their official fan club name as A.R.M.Y. (아미), an acronym standing for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth. BTS goes on to explain the significance of the relationship of A.R.M.Y. and BTS, highlighting how both will always be together.
ARMY is military in English, the body armor and military are always together, so it means that the fans will always be together with the Bangtan Boys.
