BTS Visit the White House and Meet with President Joe Biden

On May 31, 2022, BTS members visit the White House and speak about concerns regarding violence and Anti-Asian hate crimes. As a closing of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, BTS began the day with a briefing in the White House press box. BTS members spoke about their devastation from recent instances of violence against Asians and members took turns speaking about how they wish to use their voice to speak up against hate and bring people together despite differences.
Following this speech, BTS were invited to met with President Joe Biden to speak about hate and the recently signed Asian Hate Crimes Act. BTS were praised for their incredible influence on people and their message of embracing differences and love.
