BTS Becomes The Only South Korean Act To Earn The Three Highest RIAJ Streaming Certifications

Included in RIAJ’s latest batch of official certifications, BTS has earned two new certifications in streaming! “Butter” was certified triple platinum for surpassing 300 million streams in Japan and “Permission To Dance” was certified double platinum for surpassing 200 million streams. Last February, “Dynamite” became the first song by a foreign artist to earn a diamond platinum RIAJ certification for surpassing 500 million streams. With these two new certifications, BTS is now the only South Korean act to have earned the three highest RIAJ streaming certifications.
