"Butter" Receives Double Platinum Certification By RIAA

“Butter” has been certified double platinum by the RIAA! It now ties with “Dynamite” as their most certified single in the U.S., which went double platinum earlier this year.
The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) has just certified “Butter” double platinum, as it has now shifted at least two million equivalent units in the U.S. between pure sales and streaming equivalents. Before today, the track had yet to earn any certification from the organization, but in one fell swoop, the tune collects gold, platinum and double platinum prizes.
