"Dynamite" Achieves Double-Platinum RIAA Certification

It’s official! The RIAA announced on March 17, 2021 that BTS’s “Dynamite” has certified Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum, selling over 2 million certified units!
Although “Dynamite” is BTS's first double-platinum, this is the fourth track to reach platinum certification, following “Boy With Luv” with Halsey, “Idol” and “Mic Drop.”

“Dynamite” goes double platinum in its first swing, as it had never before earned any award from the RIAA. Typically, the organization will certify a title gold for moving 500,000 equivalent units, then later up it to platinum.”
