First K-Pop Boy Group To Headline Both KCON NY And KCON LA In The Same Year

After being announced that they will be headlining KCON New York (June 24-25) last month, it was announced on May 5 that BTS will also headline KCON LA. BTS will become the first K-pop boy group to headline KCON on both coasts in the same year! KCON LA will be held on July 29-31.
The popular Korean boy band will return to KCON LA at the fifth annual event this July. BTS is poised to become the first K-pop boy band to headline KCON events on both coasts in the same year, attesting to the group’s immense international popularity. The seven members previously performed at KCON LA in 2014, where they captivated the KCON audience with their compelling stage presence. Two years later, BTS has a bevy of hits that will surely excite this year’s KCON LA concertgoers, including the recently released single “Fire.”
