BTS has been named the artist with the most No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot 100 this decade!

On October 31, Billboard shared on their official Twitter account a list of acts that have earned the most No. 1 hits on their Hot 100 chart in the past decade. BTS topped the list with a total of six chart-topping songs!

BTS earned their first No. 1 in 2020 with "Dynamite," becoming the first Korean act to top the chart. It stayed at the top of the chart for three weeks. Later that year, BTS went on to earn two more No. 1's with their collaboration with Jason Derulo on the remix of "Savage Love" and "Life Goes On," spending one week each on the top of the chart.

The following year, BTS earned three more No. 1's with "Butter," which spent a total of 10 nonconsecutive weeks at the top of the chart, "Permission To Dance," and their collaboration with Coldplay, "My Universe." BTS is the fastest act since The Beatles to earn six No. 1 hits, doing so in over one year and one month.

On Tuesday, the US music magazine shared a new ranking on its social media account that featured the list of global acts that have earned the most No.1 records on the competitive chart over a decade. BTS was named at the top with a total of six chart-topping songs. It’s also the first decade-data released by Billboard this year including the boy band’s β€œMy Universe,” which was released in September 2021.
