RM Is Named One of 35 Innovators In The 2022 Artnet Innovators List

RM has been selected as one of the 35 innovators on Artnet’s 2022 Innovators List! RM was recognized for promoting Korean art and culture and is included on the list under the category “The Investors.”
“As agenda-setting collectors, patrons, and advisors, the members of this group are investing their resources into new markets and bold artistic directions.”
RM’s love for the arts is well-known. Sharing his art gallery and museum visits on his personal Instagram, rkive, he has inspired ARMY fans to explore the art world. For the past few years, he has celebrated his birthday by making donations supporting art publications by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) and the restoration of a Korean royal bridal robe held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). RM also narrated an audio guide in Korean and English for LACMA’s exhibition, “The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art.”
After taking RM on a recent tour of the galleries, LACMA’s director Michael Govan told Artnet News, “We had a beautiful conversation about his interest in art, and also about his deepening interest in Korean culture. He’s a real art person.” –Vivienne Chow
