Inital Announcement

On August 11, 2020, Downy Korea announced their collaboration with BTS to launch a limited edition Downy fabric softener mixed with scents of flowers and orange and a special designed bottle and measuring cup featuring the band’s TinyTAN cartoon characters.

This collaboration was inspired by BTS’ Jungkook after he opened up to fans at a fan café on January 20, 2019 about adding Downy when he does his laundry. This interaction influenced ARMYs all of the world to seek out the fabric softener both online and in-stores resulting in the company selling out of a 2 month supply in a record breaking one day.

As of February 2022, TinyTAN x Downy fabric enhancers are currently available for purchase in Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam while coming soon to the Philippines.
