Initial Announcement
On November 11, 2014, Big Hit Entertainment and CJ E&M released their Webtoon series, Hip Hop Monster, featuring BTS as cartoon characters. This online comic book created by artist, Grinemo, was originally released in black and white through Nate Comics and has a total of 42 chapters plus prologue and epilogue. The webtoon illustrates the daily lives of the BTS members as animals in their Hip Hop Club (Hipmon).
Unfortunately the webtoon is no longer available on Nate Comics, however a translated version has been reuploaded by fans on the WEBTOON and Wattpad official websites to read.

Comic Books
Between June 29, 2015 and September 22, 2015, Seoul Media Comics (Seoul Munhwasa) published comics books starring the characters of Hip Hop Monster.
This included the original βHip Hop Monsterβ comics and an additional story called, βBTS Find the World Relics,β which was published in two volumes and written by Dosu Song (author of the Maple Story comic).
The story allows the reader to learn about the flow of relics and civilizations as the characters of BTS try to save a civilization that has been imprisoned just by being curious about relics.
Merchandise
BTS Hip Hop Monster merchandise were initially released in two batches and was available for purchase through a number of South Korean stores online and offline.
The first batch was released on November 11, 2014 and the second batch on November 12, 2014.
The merchandise included figurines, mirrors, mouse pads, flash drives, stickers, notebooks, bottles, bags, and plush dolls.
