j-hope Donates 100M Won Through ChildFund Korea's Gwangju Headquarters To Choontae Academy

According to Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, j-hope made a 100 million won (~$83,900) donation in scholaship money to Choontae Academy through ChildFund Korea’s Gwangju Headquarters. They announced the donation would be used to support Jeonnam Girls’ Commercial High School by providing 500,000 won (~$420) scholarships to 10 students every year for five years.

On May 15 at the ceremony held to celebrate the scholarships provided by j-hope, 10 low-income students with good conduct and outstanding grades at Jeonnam Girls’ Commercial High School received the scholarships.

One of the students who received the J-Hope scholarship said, “I’ll focus on my studies, and after finding employment at a public institution, I also want to donate scholarships to my alma mater for my juniors.”
