j-hope Makes A Donation To His Alma Mater

On February 18, 2019, it was revealed that j-hope made a 100 million won (~$89,900) donation to his alma mater in honor of his birthday. The donation was made through ChildFund Korea’s Gwangju Headquarters and was used to support students from low-income families.
"J-Hope secretly donated the fund, asking us not to disclose it to the public," an official at the child fund said. "The donation will be used to help economically-challenged youth realize their dreams, as well as to help young patients," the official noted.
