'Butter' Becomes the Longest Running No. 1 Song of 2021

On the Hot 100 chart dated August 7, 2021, BTS’s “Butter” takes the no. 1 spot for a ninth week! With this achievement, the song is now the longest-running No. 1 song of 2021!

Meanwhile, ‘“Permission to Dance” is No. 9 on the chart. With both songs still in the top 10, “BTS hasn’t stepped down from the top for 10 weeks!”
