"Mic Drop" Spends 3 Full Years On The World Digital Song Sales Chart

"Mic Drop" has officially spent 3 full years on the World Digital Song Sales chart. It becomes the second song by a Korean act to achieve this feat.
Even though BTS have doled out dozens of songs since first releasing “Mic Drop,” the single continues to be streamed, watched and purchased by fans everywhere, and now it’s reached a very special and incredibly rare milestone on the Billboard chart the septet has come to know better than any other.
On the latest edition of the World Digital Song Sales chart, “Mic Drop” advances slightly to No. 14 from No. 17, but it’s the length of time the track has found space on the tally that’s really worth noting. The single has now spent 156 weeks, or exactly three years, somewhere on the ranking.
